We'll build it to last. Our experienced CAD designers determine the strongest and most efficient structural design of the awning frame, as well as the best type and gauge of the materials to be used. Precision shop drawings are created for your awnings before they are manufactured. And, you will get to approve them. Our master craftsmen will then fabricate your awning utilizing the latest equipment and techniques available. Fabric awnings give any business or building an elegant look. But, what really counts is the frame. Without a good frame, it is impossible to achieve the look of success. Austin Canvas & Awning will manufacture any trussing or frame configuration, ensuring the strongest and most efficient frame possible. For our frames, we offer either a non-rusting aluminum or Gatorshieldq coated steel tubing. Both materials are highly rated for awning use. Although aluminum is a sound choice, we offer Gatorshieldq, a triple-layer rust and corrosion resistant product for superior results. Both materials offered are used to engineer the best possible high strength-to-weight ratios available for your outdoor structure. Other awning companies use either Electrical Metal Tubing or PVC pipe as their standard framing materials. Neither is intended for awning use. By using the highest rated materials available, our frames are the strongest and most efficient support frames you can find in the marketplace.

The Finishing Touch

Taking every detail into consideration, the frame technicians grind and polish all of the edges and paint all of their welds to guarantee that the frame is suitable for its fabric or vinyl cover. This is done to avoid tearing or added stress to the fabric. The longevity of your product is of utmost concern when manufacturing your job, and it shows in the final product.

Construction Methods

Austin Canvas & Awning primarily uses two different methods for manufacturing awnings. The traditional lace and grommet system with aluminum frame, and the Steel Stitchf frame system.
